The market has been really tough for buyers this past year, and it was a long process until I was able to buy something. Allen was extremely patient and a helpful companion throughout the entire thing. Being the first time buying a house for me, he educated me on everything I needed to know: real-state market, buying process, mortgage, taxes, maintenance, finding good contractors, and handling contractors. I have to say he is an expert on these: maintenance and contractors. He would tell me how things work and, if they are not working or in good shape, how they are supposed to be fixed, etc. He even came to the house when the first contractors started coming to give me quotes to make sure I knew how to talk to them. If I need to buy or sell again, I'll definitely call him. I recommend Allen to anyone without reservations.

We were recommended Irma Buczynski through another Notre Dame grad student who had also bought a house. We were a particularly challenging client, as we began the whole process from Europe, and were only available in person in the US at the very end. Irma was exceptional in her duties, and moreover went above and beyond them. From the beginning, Irma was helpful in arranging video call house inspections with us. Her work ethic is exceptional, as she worked long hours to help us. Our first offer fell through due to delays with obtaining our social security numbers from abroad; despite this frustrating setback, Irma remained positive and patient with us. When we met Irma in person she was courteous and helpful with the local area (as we were new in town). We do not drive, and Irma was very generous in picking us up several times for various trips. Irma gave us several tips about safety and keeping safe while new to America, recommendations for places to visit, and good advice about purchasing the house. We are very grateful for her knowledge and taking the time to explain so much, particularly with us being new to the USA. Irma was excellent in explaining how closing would work - though Irma was not present, she gave us good instructions and left us in the capable hands of Korban, who was also professional and very helpful with the questions that we had. Irma's attention to detail was excellent with inspections, she had a good idea for potential problems or things to look out for. We were looking for a starter home at quite a low budget, so Irma helped us navigate the difficulties of finding a home we were satisfied with. Again, this was a large time commitment and we were enormously grateful. We were especially surprised when Irma was able to negotiate us a 6k price decrease in the negotiations period before closing. This was far beyond what we were expecting and aiming for; Irma was excellent in encouraging us to go for more than we thought was possible and to push the offer as far as we could. An enormous thank you for this, as we couldn't have done this ourselves! Overall then, Irma was exceptional, and it would be hard to imagine anyone better at her job. Irma seems to love her work. We're happy to have gotten to know Irma both as a professional and as a person, and we sincerely hope we will be in a position to buy a new house during our time in South Bend - for which Irma will be the first person we'll call! Thank you. We already tell everyone how brilliant Irma is, and we've had several conversations between us while meeting other grad students at Notre Dame about how great our realtor was and have offered to pass on the recommendation to people who said they are thinking about purchasing a house in the future.
